Commission- Lord Teacher icon

Commissioned by Helen Walter via the wonderful Felix and produced in consultation with him, this icon is supposed to conjure up a mixture of Medieval embelishment (Fidelian) and Ancient Egyptian (Amun-Sa) arts. Each of the corner pieces have stories behind them and are based on the real-life equivalents of both Christian iconography but also The World Tarot card.

Pencil sketch, inked, copied onto cream card and painted in limited colours/ink deliberately.
