Bowdy

A bit annoyed that my last journal entry was 2010. Oh well. I've been in Cairo for just over a year now, and have started to try and incorporate some Islamic art and of course the glorious qualities of the Belly Dancer into my work. There's also a new game being started by Profound Decisions which I am submitting work for. I cannot frame in words how happy I would be if they actually accepted the art or the idea, but I am not brimming with confidence, self or otherwise just now, so I get butterflies whenever I think about it. I'm never sure whether to update this journal or not!! Artistically I'm pretty happy at the moment, producing concentrated pieces. I have also just about made enough on commissions to sort out a Copic order, which is fab as some of my most used colours are running pretty low!! Everyday life is all over the sodding place. For once, excessively so. Hopefully this will calm in the next two weeks or so, pre the new Scarred Lands season at Warwick, which we'd like to be involved in, and Hallowe'en's Winter in the Willows, which should be quite awesome. Expect more Weasel arts. Not just now though. There's a slight issue of OfSTED to get through
